DR. MICHAEL L. JOHNSON
Hello, my name is Dr. Michael L. Johnson.  I am a board-certified Chiropractic Physician with 7 years experience in treating patients.  I am a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and of Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis.

I opened this clinic in June of 2003. Since that time I've helped thousands of people get well again.  I've helped people heal from conditions that doctors at Mayo and Iowa City felt were untreatable.  I've helped people heal from longstanding, chronic disorders that made it impossible for them to work or perform activities of daily living.  They are now back to living life on their terms.

What do I like about my job?  Each day I get to see little miracles of how the body can heal itself.  To be honest, I feel quite a rush when I can help a person that has a long-standing problem.  There really isn't anything better than seeing a person regain their health, especially if they have been suffering for a long time.

I believe in using an Integrative Treatment Approach, which means using as many things as we can, simultaneously, to promote health and healing.  This approach seems to be particularly effective with severe, chronic conditions and conditions that have baffled other health professionals.

I believe strongly in the power of choice.  If you aren't aware of Natural Treatment Aternatives, its pretty hard for you to choose them!  That is why I work very hard to promote awareness of natural treatments that you can use to augment your health.

Our focus on healing an individual isn't centered on treating symptoms.  It instead focuses on elminating the underlying cause of the dysfunction.  This approaches yield a great deal more positive health benefits than focusing on symptom reduction.

I believe in a healthy, moderate lifestyle, it's the best way to prevent problems.  I believe in the curative and protective powers of nutrition and lifestyle change, these are the true agents of disease prevention.  There are many factors that go into a person's health and I feel it is my duty to help people realize their health potential in as many different ways as I possibly can.

If you are looking for quality care and a staff that is committed to helping you, you should definitely consider us for your care.

In Health,
